With recent news of a "double-barreled" sunspot aimed directly at Earth threatening mass ejections of solar activity in our vicinity I thought I would post this beautiful video of the last eruptions causing electrically charged particles to light up our upper atmosphere.
Not to wax philosophically, but amazing how the atmosphere was so perfectly designed to protect us during events like these. Almost intelligent in its creation, wouldn't you say?
